Pneumococcus related Hemolytic-uremic syndrome (HUS) is an underrecognized condition that mainly occurs in young children. Early diagnosis
important because the potential to improve morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this report is to review
clinical and laboratory findings 14 patients with pneumococcal housing and to change the classification to capture
cases that may not have been registered with a diagnosis of pneumococcal HUS. Thus, we provide a rationale for inclusion
patients with simultaneous DIC coagulopathy and / or those whose culture results were negative strattera dosing, and we
highlight the emergence of serotype 19A after the 7-valent pneumococcal vaccine-related protein
(Prevnar). This is the largest series of such items (as far as we know) in one place. Sixty-four percent of patients

recovered without any long-term consequences. Three patients developed chronic kidney disease, 1 developed end-stage renal failure
, and 1 died in the acute phase. The greatest risk factor for developing chronic kidney disease
need for acute dialysis for 20 days, and death in the acute phase is rare, if meningitis primary infection. . << >>
